Goodbye Job!
Today is my last day of work. I'm pretty happy about it, although I am actally going to miss some of my co-workers. I worked with my favorite co-worker yesterday and felt sort of sorry about leaving.
I've only quit one job, and even then, they fired me before my resignation took effect. Some mortgage company. Apparently paying me for two weeks service was worth bringing me into the office and telling me to: "get the hell out of my face, my life and my office. NOW." Other memorable quotes? Well, there was the advertising agency: "How was your weekend, Eric? Guess what." and the phone center job: "Eric. Eric, Eric, Eric, ERIC. You know our policy on swearing, correct?" and of course, my favorite, the mail order company: "You know what? I get this feeling from you. Like you're BETTER than stuffing envelopes. Well, if that's the case, sir? Good day."
